Police commissioners Thorsten Falke and Julia Grosz are looking into the identity of a suspicious man for the federal police in Lüneburg. He is suspected of having committed war crimes as a member of a militia. During a police operation for the investigation a witness is fatally injured. Falke’s gun is found to have fired two shots. Falke and Grosz come under suspicion and must subject themselves to internal police investigations. But were there no others who could have benefitted from the death of the young woman? Are Falke and Grosz being scapegoated? Or did the operation just get out of hand?
